The University of Louisiana at Lafayette offers free and discounted computer software to students, faculty, and staff. The University Software Center provides a variety of software available to both PC and MAC users. Software Center provides students access to software that can be installed without administrative privileges. Follow these steps to access the Software Center from a campus computer:
1. Click on the "Windows" or "Start" button.
2. Type "Software Center" in the "Search programs and files" box.
3. Click on "Software Center.”
4. Click the “Available Software” tab.
5. Select the software you wish to install
6. Click the Install button.
Visit the IT Catalog of Services page to browse available software and locate instructions on how to use the Software Center.
