Students attending class, school events, or studying on campus after dark are all aware of the importance of safety. Knowing this, the Student Government Association has purchased an app for users to have easy access to useful safety tools.

The University of Louisiana Rave Guardian App was created as a personal guide for on-campus safety. Equipped with a safety timer, panic button, and emergency contact information, the app allows users to make emergency calls directly to the UL Lafayette Police Department or any other contact of their choosing. Not only this, but the app allows users to send in tips or concerns directly to the University Police Department.

The Rave Guardian app can be located in both the App Store and the Google Play Store. Sign up is quick and easy using your school email, CLID, and password. You can find additional information regarding the Guardian app online and watch this short video created by the university to familiarize yourself with the app.
